Today’s problems come from Axiom Mathematicsa charity that takes high achieving primary school children and provides them with maths enrichment during secondary school.
One of Axiom’s main activities is to organize ‘maths circles’, in which small groups of pupils come together to tackle fun problems. Like the one below, which is aimed at 11/12 year olds, and forms the basis for further explorations.
