Just before Britain’s last coal-fired power station Ratcliffe-on-Soar switched off for the last time, Madeleine Finlay traveled to Nottinghamshire with energy correspondent Jillian Ambrose for a final tour of the site. Britain is the first major economy to move completely away from coal as it aims to reach the target of net zero by 2030.
